Photoshop plugin - Storyboard. It's normally used to create collages for blogs.
I cropped each photo manually to squares. Put 4 photos into the plugin to create 1 single strip. It makes the white edge for you.
Then put 4 strips through and chose the stack option.
There's probably a easier way to do that.
