Bying Cars in PGR2?

Hi

I have just got about 10 Kudos Tokens, but how do I buy cars with them cannot find any option and the manual doesnt tell you?

When you select the car for a race, some are grey. Select one of those and press A and the car will be unlocked, and therefore bought
