Just installed the flow meter from Bykski but as soon as i plug it in with the pump running, i get an Alarm. Am i right in saying the flow should be from left to right?

This is how i've set it up at the moment:

If its incorrect, is there a way to invert the impeller inside so it will work?

Looked at the instructions, there was no mention of flow directions.
But what i did notice was its made of aluminium, so you should probably remove and but on Morecambe bay ;)

Weird, i found some on their official website which mentions it should be from the left to right .

yeah i read about this but there are no reports of damage of damage due to it being anodised. I might just remove it anyway for peace of mind. I wanted the POM version but they sent this one instead :o.

yeh got the aquacomputer one POM and stainless.

Watching a vid and took your flow sensor apart and swapped the impeller the other way around.
But it was in Chinese

Good show, just keep an eye on the cpu block for any nasty stuff going on as it does say on their site alu loops only?

I've double checked on their website and it says its anodised so will work with all loops, i'll keep an eye on on it though regardless just incase. So far so good though, have the pc on more than 12 hours a day and not seen anything weird going on yet...

Funky - Does it have a battery to power the display?

It's powered via a molex cable direct from the psu. Have to get a sata splitter as my psu doesn't support so many molex cables lol.

I was worried for you as it say on their site---- The Bykski Inline Aluminum Flow Meter Module w/ OLED Display offers a real time reading of your inline flow rate. The in-line block uses industry standard G1/4 fittings. The all aluminum module MUST be used in aluminum compatible loops.

Weird, on their official site it says differently. I can imagine older models being untreated aluminium. I did have a look at the internals when i inverted the propeller and its all anodised black inside.
