As title really, just wondering if people I'm fighting are beating me fair and square or not ( I know they probably are but i'm curious :D )

Unlike punkbuster which you know as it asks to install, what system does EA use for C&C? Whatever it is its not as flaw riddled as punkbuster!

Valve have VAC.

Only problem with punkbuster is that its unreliable and is prone to breaking. The amount of times i have had to do a manual update 3/4 times in a row just so i can play is infuriating.

Never had a problem with PB myself...
Can't think if C&C has protection or not. I would guess it probably does, it just hasn't been advertised.

I think there was a lot of Hoo-Ha on the EA forums about cheaters, might be worth checking there.

First thing is that (in most RTSs) all players must have the same game data in order to connect to each other in the first place. But then if there are hacks (revealing FOW?) then that's up to the developer to code the game well enough to prevent such hacks. I know that Ensemble Studios are good with this; don't know about C&C. You'd best go to gamereplays or a proper C&C forum to find out if the game is vulnerable to hacks.
