I wasn't sure if this should be posted here or under the general Windows forum.
I've been playing C&C 3 for a while but have only just noticed the following.

I'm running Vista Ultimate 64 and all is well.
However I just cannot get on with the "Start" menu from Vista.
Everything else I like and soon got used to, however no matter how much I tried to like the Start menu under Vista I just couldn't get used to it.
So, I've switched that back to "Classic Start Menu" and turned "Customised" off - so all my application groups are visible all of the time.

I've only just recently noticed that for some reason there is no C&C 3 listed on my Start Menu at all.
I've been simply putting in the DVD and the game starts and I've been playing it etc.
If however I hit Start>Programs the game hasn't created any shortcuts at all.
Is this normal for C&C3?
Or is this just under Vista that this happens?
I'm guessing most people who are using Vista are also leaving the Start menu as it is and I think they see C&C3 under a generic "Games" heading?

I shall have to wait until I get home this evening to confirm this.
However I am 99% sure that I checked Start>Programs>Games thinking maybe Vista was starting to group such things here.
I'm sure that the only games listed there were the built-in games like Hearts, Freecell, Minesweeper etc and none of my installed games like C&C3.

As mentioned in my original post could it be the fact I run the "Classic Start Menu"?
I'll confirm it doesn't (or does of course) appear under Start>Programs>Games with the Classic Start Menu once I get home from work.

The problem being that I don't actually have a Games Subfolder from my Start Menu - only Start>Programs>Games"which contains the likes of Hearts etc.
This I'm sure doesn't have any shortcuts to any games in.

So it looks like to get shortcuts to games I've either got to:

1. Create Shortcuts myself
2. Try again and get used to the Vista Start rather than the "classic view" I've kind of grown to know and love :)
