C&C collection on Origin - anyone else have problems with Windows 8.1?

As title really, just bought the C&C collection for old times sake, and can't get any of the games to run in W8.1, especially annoyed/sad over not getting Generals running.

Common problem, or am I just being thick?

I bought that collection a few weeks ago

But I only played red alert so far (But that worked fine in W8.1 64bit for me)
