just thought I'd dig this off the shelf but can't getting it running any more

Everything has installed ok and i've downloaded and installed the latest patch, however when I try and run the game I keep getting a "*** Fatal*** String Manager failed to initilaized properly".

Anyone had the same problem and know any possible fix's ? tried a google but there not much on this error.

yep tried that, using vista at the moment but apparently it does work ok in it. Switched it to win 98 compatability and XP sp2 compat and still no good.

Just trying uninstalling and reinstalling see if it helps

Update:

Well got it working now on it's own, must have been Yuri's revenge that did it.

anyone recommend any decent mods for it ?
