C&C3 Gameplay Videos

looks better than i expected. Still dont like all the zoom in and rotate crap though. Simple is sometimes better (can concentrate on other things)

what if you dont have enough room for another turret or if you dont know where the next attack is coming from, i normally just used tanks to defend as they are mobile, but i still used that tactic for anti infantary defences in the olden times

Very handy, because it allows you to keep a turrent built in reserve, when one gets destroyed, you can instantly place the other one.
Ah I see, the building time is still there in the menu, its not like you just pick what you want to build and it appears.
The last c&c game i played was red alert on the ps1 and as far as i could remember the building was the same as in generals. Cheers for clearing that up. :D

Ugh.

Read what I wrote.

I said 5 cannons. Which is better than 2....


The point i'm making is if there is no space for, lets say grand cannons (on bay of pigs (red alert 2/yuri)), can be replaced quickly. I'm not saying build 1, and then replace it when it's blown up. I mean when you have no space left/think you have enough defense.

so far this game looks like its being made as if tiberian sun and firestorm never existed. They could atleast stay faithful to their units rather than making it up as they go along.
 
Woo the classic C&C sidebar is back! I'll definitely be buying this. Even if EA do their worst I'll still enjoy a C&C game.
 
i generally like all incarnations, but Red Alert 1 was the best for me, looks crappy looking back tho :p

I HATE the fact that a tank shell doesnt kill infantry ... why not make the tanks fire slower, and turn slower, but better vs infantry ... slightly more realistic :) but then again, the game isnt aimed at realism :o
 
Having units aimed at a particular role is what it's all about. If it's anti armor, it should suck against anything but armor :)

To the people who were dissapointed with Generals and Zero hour, I strongly recmommend a mod called Contra (google)

You have to level up before you can build super weapons and some units, and all units are very specialised. No using gattling tanks to kill armor etc. :)
