Sorry if this is the wrong section!

I am currently ruuning a p4 3Ghz HT cpu with 1Gig of ddr400 with a agp 7600GT.

AMy display is rubbish so my resolution is 800x600

What kind of settings do you think I will be able to run the game at?

And any hints/tips on getting it running tip top?

Should be full at that resolution easy.

My p4 630 runs it at full on a 1440x900 screen (although I do have double the ram and a 7950gt to be fair lol).

But yeah at that resolution it should run it at high easily, or at least medium.

My rigs a P4 3.2 Prescott, 2GB DDR400 and a 6800GT.
C&C3 runs fine with high graphics settings @ 1680 x 1080.
I've not tried the highest settings as I know this will cripple my 6800GT.

i'm on a p4 2.8ghz 1gb ram with a 128mb GF4 Ti4800... and it STILL runs!....
and its using vista.... gameplay is still good and smooth... doesnt look pretty though...

The game is not overly taxing on ones PC and doesn't require anything fancy to run at a good res so even a couple year old PC runs it great at 1024 on highish settings.

yeah you'll be fine 1024*768 no problems. i have an old 2800+, 7600GS and 2Gb ram and it chuggs along quite happily at 1280*1024 if i set it to high then turn some effects off. shadows seem to be the one thing that majorly kills it.

Should be fine on med-high detail. If you need more power then look into overclocking the P4 (will get 3.4 easy) and graphics card :)

Throw caution into the wind and set it to max everything :D

800 x 600 should be easy for your setup <-- this is an assumption :P (remember kids never "assume")

If its a tad slow then start dropping the settings down

Please, if you're going to play online then make sure your pc can handle the detail with 3+ other opponents, not just being able to scrape by on SP missions.

Nothing is more annoying than some guy who can't accept that his pc won't handle everything on ultra high, joining your game and lagging you to oblivion.
