c/fire info

correct me if i am wrong on this.at the mo i have got one 6970@2 gig card.
to use c/f i would need the same card and manufacture to use as crossfire
or could i use any make of 6970 cards?

just to clarify.
any make (but best to match imo) but the same series of card, ie. HD69.. but if you get a 6950, then both cards will run at the slowest cards speed.
also you would probably need a bigger psu as well

i put a 6950 with ulocked shaders with my 6970 and just overclock it to the same speed as the 6970
