I updated my BIOS yesterday which lost me my 4.7Ghz overclock on my 2600k.

It was stable but now It's only Intel Burn Test stable at 4.6Ghz at the same settings.

I can't remember what setting I had the C-State on or if I had it disabled completely?

What should I leave on or off in terms of power saving features?

My board is a MSI Z68-GD80 G3

Cheers

C states on haswell are just as stable turned on as they are disabled and turned off, on haswell, far better architecture.
as for previous gens, it was required to be off for better stability... though im talking about i7 920s as i kinda jumped from that to haswell and missed out sandybridge and ive bridge completely lol
so not sure on there architecture.

I left mine on, my voltage and clock speed go down fine, and back up to full speed when needed. I would guess you could possibly gain more stability at high on the limit overclocks by turning them off.
