c# working with strings

Hi

I need to search a string for occurrences of a letter, and find the positions within the string.
I am thinking regex but need a bit of a push in the right direction.
Can someone help me out please.

String.IndeOf in a loop untill you get -1 as ther result?

For loop would be a simple and quick way. Someone in the thread did some tests with various methods and for loop was quickest.

Just note down the indexes when you find a match.
