I've got a C1 9550 Intel chip...what exactly is C1 and is it any good for o/clocking?

What's the difference from C1 and D0 I read about on here?

Don't worry about D0s those only apply to i7s.

For the q9550, two steppings were released, C1 and E0. The E0 stepping were released later and generally allowed higher overclocks while needing less voltage.

However C1s still clocked well just like all 45nm Intel chips :D
