Am I the only one planning on getting this? Xeon E3-1230 V5 (4c/8t) is only $250 and this board will OC it.

Skylake Xeon here we come :eek:
 
This board will definitely support the 1151 Xeons, but I don't think you'll be able to OC a Xeon on it.

You can install a 6600K or 6700K and OC those, but as far as I can tell from all the press releases/advertising media I've seen, the non-Z OC is for the RAM, not the CPU.

I'm happy to stand corrected if I'm wrong though!
 
It can overclock the xeon with the right bios.

Fair enough. As I said, I'm happy to be corrected.

It is good to see that the 1151 Xeons are clockable. It is a BCLK OC, so the BIOS rev will be important to make sure that it doesn't get shut down by Intel via a microcode update! Especially given that the Xeons are a fair bit cheaper than the 6700K.
