C2D CPU Cooler

Are there any CPU Coolers that are better than the scythe ninja or nearly as good i am looking to buy one thats not as big and so i can overclock my processor i've currently got the stock fan in atm and its at idle at 48oc

Is it worth getting any thermal paste for my cpu aswell
if so which would be the best?

Shin-Etsu MicroSi 1gm Tube is the paste i use its one of the best there is and even though the tube weighs 1g u get a lot its very light

i just got the Tuniq tower 120 and used the arctic silver 5 thermal paste. My temps dropped 10-13c, pretty impressed

tuniq is the best value the thermalrite 120 ultra extreme
is the best but it costs nigh on £55 delivered with a fan which you have to buy.

Dropped compared to which cooler? The Scythe Ninja?

If i got the tuniq will it be safe to overclock or will i need some thermal paste to go with it
