Hi guys,

I was running XP and had my E6400 running happily at 3.6Ghz. However, after I installed a clean copy of Vista, it appears that the multiplier is only running at x6 instead of x8. I am only getting max speed of 2.6ghz or there-abouts. I know my CPU will run an extra 1Ghz per core, can anyone help me with this?

By the way, the BIOS settings appear to be correct. Spec as per signature. Thanks ;)

was it at idle when you checked CPU Z? try running something processor intensive like SuperPi in the background...

Excellent! Thanks mate, I never thought of that. CPU-Z went up to about 3.5Ghz. Oddly enough, the mulitplier still shows as x6 in CPU-Z. Should I ignore this?

Thanks!
