Just a quick one, I currently have an E6420 clocked to 2.4Ghz. I'm interested in dabbling in some video editing and wondered whether a Quad processor would be any improvement or just push the OC higher?
The CPU has been watercooled since installation with a fairly decent loop so heat isn't a problem. I haven't been past 2.5Ghz, dunno why, haven't really needed the extra Mhz till now....what is a safe max vCore for these CPU's?
