Right!

I am currently running a E7300 @ 3Ghz (from 2.66Ghz). I am also still running on a retail heatsink, which I would like to replace. The bus speed is currently at 300Mhz to give me 1.8Ghz (Multiplier 6) when slowed and 3Ghz (Multiplier 10) when not.

I have just looked at CPU-Z and the FSB:DRAM ratio is at 2:3. I don't really understand how to work the best ratio out. Which would be the best for me?

DRAM frequency is currently 450, which would be DDR2-900?

Motherboard is a 965P-S3 rev 1.0 which shouldn't suppor this CPU but is running fine!

Any help would be great :)

Thanks

The best CPU ratio is the one that works at closest to your max speed with regards to your ram.. While at the same time remaining stable...

However these days it is going to offer little difference in the real world.
