Ok so I have a barebones HP DC7700 SFF lying around and I want to turn it into a HTPC for my new TV.

Since its a "business" PC, there is obviously no options or overclocking and what not, so I just want to know will a CPU like the C2D E4300 or E6300 be enough for 720p and 1080p movies?

I'm also planning on getting either the Radeon 4350 or 5450 (both basically the same, the 5450 just supports DX11) as I need HDMI out.

Will that setup be enough for 1080p movies and Blu-ray's if I decide to add a drive? I assume the GPU will help a lot what with hardware acceleration, but just want to confirm that a E4300/E6300 will be sufficient?

Cheers!

I run my HTPC with a E2220 Intel cpu with 4gb RAM and ATI 5460 GPU - Can't fully remember.

This would play Blu-rays ect fine at 1080p.
