C2D's getting all the attention?

Hey all,

In most of the 'spec me a system threads' i've seen everyone is suggesting C2D's, there doesn't seem to be any mention of AM2 X2 cpus :confused: Why is this, are the AM2's not good clockers, or are they just not good price/performance as they were before.
