Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone else had noticed that there seems to be quite a few Merc C63 AMG's about at the moment.

I think over last week I had managed to spot about 12 while out and about. Had a quick look on piston heads and for a 13 plate you're looking ~£40,000.

Would love one of these. Never been in one.. but have heard many over the years.

Think this can be purchased for as low at 35k (for pre facelift models)

There were/are (no idea if still on) some relatively decent deals on these, guessing as a run out deal to get rid of stock maybe?

My folks picked one up and it is lovely, had another go in it the other day now it's run and all I can say is my god it's just pure evil

In a world of 4-cyl turbo diesels and asthmatic petrols, a dirty great V8 is a breath of fresh (CO2 laden) air. Maybe MB would sell more of them if they stopped letting people make their C180 CDs look very similar.

I was giggling like a kid when I drove it last, that noise is just ridiculously good.

They are very quick and sound amazing. When you boot it, all the noise is from the exhaust. I'd probably go out and buy one tomorrow if there were no other considerations to car ownership. In the meantime I'll carry on driving my 1.8 Civic.

I was in the MB dealer a couple of weeks ago and their demo car, a 14 plate with 1500 miles on it, was for sale for £48K. Cracking deal IMO, just wish i had £48K spare

When you hear one with an aftermarket exhaust it is a thing of sheer pleasure

Even standard they are lush

My mate has just bought a 62 plate coupe. Stupid fast and great sound for a standard car. The dashboard has a few creaks, rattles and looks a bit cheap, that would seriously annoy me in a £40k car!

Yep, I've seen quite a lot about too, pretty much all of them are white (although they do look good).

Sign the prices are dropping though, nearly every one I see has tinted windows and banging music; the latter of which I struggle to understand.

Those things don't need stereo's with the soundtrack that engine makes!
