c905 problem making calls

problem just started on my phone.
i can dial a number, i dont hear phone dialing, then the phone shows the call as connected but i cant hear the other end. if i put my loudspeaker on, i can hear the other party.
the same with receiving calls.
Is this a cheap fix?

Sorry to say this, but its a really common problem with this phone.
Personally I went through 5 with the same problem every time.
You will have to get it repaired. No cheap fix.

I had to hold the ear piece down to here calls again. I went through 5 too also being repaired by o2 8 times until I was offer an alternative which I ended up selling and buying a new phone. Best really to get another phone like I did.

thanks for this, popped into local market. the regular stall holder for mobile repairs reckons its the the digital mic is gone and needs replacing, he suggested £15.
fair price?

Yeah, cheaper than buying a new phone.

Yup super common problem, happened to mine twice in its lifetime. Before it found its way into our washing machine.

Happened to me as well, hold down the C key hard and you'll be able to hear... I think the main issue is with the circuit board.
