Dos anyone know of a cable BB wireless router that allows me to restrict when my kids PCs can use the Internet and also controls their bandwidth usage please?

My teenage daughter regularly fleeces my bandwidth with her/her mates webcam/s (video and audio) and from playing YouTube videos.

Also she's on the net when she should be in bed!

If the above is possible my life would be so much better :D

Thanks in advance.

If you are not on 50Mb then a Linksys WRT with Tomato installed would work quite well.

The reason I say if you are not on 50Mb is that some WRTs don't have the horsepower for 50Mb throughput, but are fine on 20Mb and 10Mb

The new wrt's have more than enough power for 50 my 320n had around a 150Mb throughput and to the question a router with third party firmware is your best bet although if your not up to flashing your router i believe that there are some buffalo routers shipping with a custom dd-wrt firmware.

As PistolPete has asked, what are you on? The WRT54G with DD-WRT is perfect for 10mb and 20mb, but the WAN port limits you to around 35mb max so would be useless on the 50mb product.
