cable braiding and heat shrink

what size cable braid and heat shrink is the right one for

normal sata cable and fan cables

will the braid just slip over the sata plugs or is it a pain to do sata cables


seems to be some sort of world shortage of cable braid its kind of hard to find
anywhere that has braid in stock

for sata you can use anywhere from 10mm-6mm for fans you can use 3mm but 6mm looks better imo.

For the heat shrinkz i used 10-12mm on my satas
