Cable Braiding

I am looking for some red and black cable braiding to braid just about every cable in the case individually. I am totally new to this so I would like to know what brands are good, how much I should get and what size.

I would use
2.5 mm if you are going to do single cables.
4mm if you are going to do small bunches (3 or 4 together)
6mm if you do bigger bunches (no more than 7)
10mm for sata cables.

The dense weave is the best I have found

These cables have the black dense weave fitted.

NZXT do a range of pre-sleved extensions for reasonable money.

They seem costly but when you factor in the price of a good few meters of sleeving, heat shrink and then black connecter blocks PLUS the time you'll have to spend sleeving them, AND the potential to damage/break a pin when removing from the block....
They start to look very attractive.

And if you your PSU blows, or you upgrade it, your sleeving work is not lost.

Sorry for reviving the thread, but how much should I be looking at getting (length). I will be individually wiring the 24-Pin power, 8-Pin CPU power, front panel connections with some spare for other things and mistakes if needed. Thinking of mixing black and red, thoughts on that?

Measure the lengths of the cables. Then add a bit more. The length contracts when the diameter is larger too!
We do not know how long your cables are!

Another quickie, if I get an ATX pin extractor tool, what other pins will it be able to remove?

ATX pin extractor will remove all of the pins except those on fan cables I believe. 4 Pin power, 24 Pin, PCIE and 4/8 Pin CPU are all molex connectors even though the 4 pin is normally referred to as the molex

A small flat screwdriver blade will remove fan terminals and the terminals from a molex 4pin peripheral connector. Sata connectors vary but some are insulation displacement types with which that screwdriver will come in handy both to extract and re-assemble.

Spend the money on a good pin removel tool dont buy cheap you will regret it,i cant link to the one is use but it`s very good,as for doing single cable is use 4mm again it`s greman made and the best stuff out there.
If you dont fancy doning it yourself there are plenty of pre-made cable on sale out there.

Here`s my work if just done on my cables.

i was lazy and bought the pre-braided stuff...then i wonder why i have no spare dosh lol
