cable broadband

are there any other service providers other than virgin and bt?
i want good cable broadband but ive had enough of virgin, im spost to be on the 50mb package

There are a few but availability is the key. Jump on samknows.com to see ebay you can get. I, like most it seems, can only get virgin but you might get lucky.

Wasn't aware that anyone other than Virgin Media did cable.
BT don't, and Plusnet certainly don't

IIRC there are one or two other cable companies still in the UK, but as Cable is a franchise (IE one operator per area) due to the way the rights were sold, and NTL and BY between them bought up most of the original companies (then merged and became VM), the other companies are quite small and local.

I think there is Smallword, and one based in the Isle of Man or somewhere.
