cable cabling

if i want to move my cable modem elsewhere i'd need some cable cable and an extender i guess?

anyone know what the name of cable cable is please? :confused:

anything more specific than coax cable?
and the name of the connector i would need if anyone knows it please

I know the cable used is Satelite Coax cable, can be got from large electronics specialist stores.

Cant think of ther connector at the moment but it may come to me....

Surely you could just extend the ethernet end rather than the cable end, would be much easier?

Yup it's satellite type coax and 'F' connectors.

Make sure you get double shielded sat cable else you may have probs with drop outs etc...
