Cable for hooking laptop to TV

That's a lot of money just for that lead.

You need a scart plug with 3x phono connectors (yellow for composite video and red and white for left and right audio) and possibly and s-video connector. I say possibly because you can get an s-video to composite adapter.

For audio you'll need a cable with a 3.5mm jack on one end which you plug into your laptops headphone socket. At the other end will be the red adn white phono plugs which you plug into the scart plug.

I think you get a B&W picture if your scart socket on the telly doesn't support s-video, which is why some of the scart plugs have a little switch on them. Been ages since i tried anything like that.

Anyway, you should be able to get all you need in a PC-TV kit for around £10.
