I see lots of threads on here with people who have set ups with very little clutter, wide expanses of space in their cases and very few cables. My case in contrast is a mess - I don't think I dare post a pic!!

How do you do it?

I have a non-modular PSU which I don't think helps but dont want to change . Otherwise I have similar components to others but don't think I'll ever get that uncluttered tidy look.

Anyone got some good tips??

Cheers :)

here's my set-up but dont think I have the fan cables attached to the psu here or one of the USBs - any advice would be great:

There isn't a great deal you can do, firstly the back exhaust fan cable could be routed around the side of the fan so its trapped between the fan side and motherboard. You might need to remove the fan to do this looking t the pic. All the cables laid at the bottom of the case, can they not be shoved in the drive bay under the bottom hard drive or even back down with the PSU?

It takes time mate. I put everything into cable management. I cut holes in my motherbaord tray for the 12v Cable, 24 ATX and the pwr, rset front panel.

It helps to sleeve your cables too, which makes it much more slick. Use small black cable times and you can get sticky pads to tie your cables to. For fans, I cable tie the wires around them so I just have enough slack to fit them.

It does depend on what case you have to get perfection but every case can be neatend up to a certain degree.

I'm rebuilding my system this weekend and I know the cable management will be the longest bit but it's worth it in the end.
