Cable management and 'sheath'

Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me the name of the cable used for case fans and where I can get some, pref black and white?

Also, does anyone know where I can get the black weaved 'sheath' that surrounds the cables of many new PSUs.

i would assume an electronics store would be able to help you with a fan cable, that is if you are fine to wire it into the fan yourself.

The black weaved sheaths are normally on modular PSU's so i dont know if you can get it separately and if you went and bought modular cables you would need a modular PSU to connect them to.

Cheers for that, yeah i'll be able to wire the fan.

I have a modular PSU, it's just I want to wrap my fan wires in sheath to make it look like rest. Maybe i'm taking this tidiness thing a little too far

That will do the ends as its heat shrink. I think Sysmic Wave is referring to braiding. You can buy it from many places mate. In different sizes but for fan wires you'll need 4mm. It's normally sold in 1 metre strips. Can't say where you can get it from though.
