What an improvement, good job fella! Have your temps dropped at all?

Well the main reason for the cable management was for looks rather than performance as the top section was pretty much cable free before. It was mainly the lower section where the PSU and HD are that had the most cables tidied. Looking at my temps they are around the same, maybe 1 or 2 c lower but this could be due to varying ambient temps.

Good stuff mate, but that case needs some water!!!

Like the colour scheme; what fan is that on the Noctua? I want some white-bladed ones, was looking at the Sharkoon Silent Eagles.

Over half the PSU fan looks blocked by the case in that picture
If so what an utterly stupid design tbh!!

most cases block PSU fan's unless you turn them upside down.. PSU fans don't need much space either. Using the PSU bracket on the case above creates more room inside the case = better air flow :)

Indeed, on my v1000+ the psu faces the other way...so the fan points towards the bottom of the case, where there are breathing holes for it so to speak.

Also, I think the main reason for the psu sticking out like that is because of larger psu's nowadays...If he has the second HDD rack in, it would be 'harder' to route the cables, so you can opt in installing the psu slightly further back in the bracket.

However you don't have the second HDD rack in anyway...So I would have just installed it all the way in if you could anyway...and maybe tried to turn the PSU round if you could, no idea if you can though.

Yea i tried that but the PSU blocks the hole for the pci-e power cables. Its fine the way it is, and I actually dont mind the look of it sticking out the back :p its different anyway
