What you guys think of this.

This is my antec 300 best I can really do till i get a modular PSU. I want to Drill some holes to route some of the cables under the backplate.

Any suggetions btw? I was th inking of getting some short sata latch cables too. That kinda thing. I ran the two top fan cables under the mother board through the bit behind the cpu mount to connect to the psu cables at the back. Did that so the Top fan cables were not hanging all ugly and so on.

if you have a long enough cable run the rear fan cable inbetween the mobo and tray or cut a hole where the PS2 ports are. A nice rectangular hole near the PSU would be useful for power cable management but id reccomend some C channel molding (also known as u channel). I think the main issue would be the main 24 pin power cable which can be hidden behind the mobo when that psu hole is cut. after that zip tie closest suff together and maybe get some sticky hooks / tape to hold the zip ties down to the case. an easy way round it would be two small holes and thread the tie through, round the cable it pull it together. This should give a cleaner look.

thats quite a good effort. considering you have no holes to put the cables behined the mobo try.

its as good as my try despite i have a HAF, unless you see the size of my cables than you will know why :p

you could do with a few holes being cut into the mobo tray. and a modular PSU will help a lot

This is a build I did for a friend...

...all you really need to do is drill one new hole and make one existing one larger. You will need a cable extension for your 4/8pin to reach around the back of the board too.

Cable tie as many cables as possible at the back of the 3.25" bays.

A Sata optical would help too, or failing that, at least get a rounded cable for your IDE drive.

Also, not sure if your PSU would work well upside down, but that really helps keep it looking tidy too, and contrary to popular belief, there is enough room for it to breathe upside down.

^pretty much what he said.
But if you can't do that, am sure you can get ur 4pin under the mobo to attach it, and hide all the cables behind the 3.5inch bay drives.

Cable tie the sata drives flat, and only use as much as you need of them.

Overall, its a good job, I have a soprano case, which is a lot smaller than a 300 and mine looks about the same as that guys^.
