Hey all, as title really. I have a cable feed from NTL/Virgin Media in my main room, however i'd like to get the feed into my bedroom also. My initial thoughts were simply the same feed so i can watch whatever is in the main room, on my tv in the bedroom also. If i could get it to change channel from my bedroom as well great, but i dont suspect this is possible without another subscription.

I have contacted Virgin but am yet to hear from them nearly 2 weeks later (arses). A tv sender is not a possible solution as i have a wireless network and this is in the room beside my bedroom, which i suspect would interfere greatly, as well as microwave interference i've read about.

So is there a solution for me out there? I really want to make this happen

Without another box, you'll have to use the signal out of your first box.

The older boxes had an RF output on the back but IME this has always been totally crap picture quality.. All you would need is a length of coax and some plugs.

Alternatively you could get a Wire up a SCART plug with extra out puts on the plug on the back of the box and plug in a long cable and run that to the room. (need to be good with soldering)

Thirdly you could get a modulator. I was lucky and got one for £3 at my local boot sale I've since found new that it costs 40, but I have seen cheaper ones for about £20. Basically you plug in you scrat lead at one side and out the other you get 1 or 2 or more RF ouputs, And maybe a scart pass through. But they are more pricey. This is basically the same as 1., but the quality shouldn't suck (well mine doesn't)

I use mine mainly to hook up my DVD to a TV with only RF input.

Do a search for RF modulator

These are the kind of things they use in hotels, etc to distribute the tv around the place.
