did a type you telephone number then, and the max speed is 4mb, i use to ahveing 20 mb.

my quesion is what are my option of getting faster internet, cable? who are the providers etc.

As far as cable goes your choice is essentially Virgin Media or bust. There's a couple of other small companies (like Small World Media (formerly Wight Cable North), who cover a small part of NW England and SW Scotland).
