Hey all need some help making sure I'm getting the right cables for my new setup, got two questions for you:
I have a graphics card with my old screen connected using the DVI port, I need to get a mini-Display Port to Display Port cable for my recently purchased monitor as it didn't come with one (thanks for the warning OCuK

Connecting to a Samsung 40" TV (LE40B554M2W) which has USB and HDMI ports on it, PC is roughly 4 meters away (will need a 5m cable)
First - am I right about miniDP(f)-DP(m) for the monitor, and thinking HDMI to the TV?
Second -My intended use is dvd/blueray films, HDTV x264 TV shows from the pc to TV, occassional gaming - what level/quality/grade cables should I be looking at?
