Cable question...

I'm gonna have a crack at building my own pc for the first time i've worked inside pc's before changing a hardisk, processor and memory + the old graphics card etc (upgrades really) but never done a complete from nothing build

My question concerns cables, when i buy motherboard, hardisk, powersupply do they come with all the connectors, power cables, IDE connectors etc to link them all up or do i need to buy all these cables separately?

Cables will come with the motherboard if it is new. An extra power cable or convertor for your existing power supply to video card may come with the video card depending on the model. You shouldn't need to buy any extra cables for a 'normal' build.

in short yes. But different products vary in how much quanity they give you of each cable.
