Cable question

I currently have a psu with 2x6 pin pci connectors and i notice many new card need 8 pin or 1x6 and 1x8. Is there an adapter i can get to go from 6 to 8 pin or do i need to buy a new psu?

There are adapters, but I'd avoid them. Your best bet is to ensure you have a decent PSU. Last thing you want is all your juice coming off one rail when your PSU isn't designed for it.

What PSU is it?

Its a Tagen 580

I thought as much, i just wanted somebody to say yh its fine go for it. What psu is the best bang for buck these days, i dont want anything over the top just a good 650w psu will do.
