I just recently purchased a glass desk and so need some cable tidying for this purpose, i have seen the plastic flexitubes with a cut down one side that you can buy and stick power cables and the like in, just wondering if anyone knows where i can get this(swear i saw it in a screwfix catalogue before but cant find it now) and if anyone has any tips for how to hide the cables.

Or you could go to a DIY store and get some black/chrome hosepipe and split it down one side. Ive got really decent cable management with all my HI-fi and pc now. It did take me 3-4 hours and literally hundereds of cable ties to do however. The thing that halped most with my cable management, was to hide all the power adapters and multi adapters in a drawer next to my pc.

nice idea, i was thinking of making a metal or wood box today for my multi adapter as i have an 8 plug surge thing, so its quite unsightly, but i might give it a with the hosepipe you mention, would keep it in line with the metal look i have going on.
