Cable tidying help

Just need some
Tips of best way of tidying cables?

Also is e7400 at 30c on a tuniq tower with all fans on low that's been running 4hours just idle good temp?

Just like to say thanks go everyone help from specing to now been great!!
 
Cable ties. If you have enough space route cables underneath your motherboard or make holes in your case for wires to go above the motherboard. What case do you have? What spec is your system? :)

30c idle is a very nice temp. Run Prime Orthos and stress the CPU to see what the load temp is. What Ghz have you got it running at?
 
Get some velcro cable ties, and be coldy logical about the organisation of cables. Try and group large cables together, to make one big strand. Hide cables wherever you can. My motherboard power sticks out a fair bit, so I route my drive power/PCI-E power under it, so it holds them down.
 
Some cases let you route under motherboards. If you don't want to them do as reflux has suggested. Group cables together and use lots of cable ties :)
 
I also find that the ties used to close up food bags (doggy bags) are useful. The ones you just wrap around the wires and twist together.

Handy for both test-routings because they're faster and easier to remove than cable ties, and for keeping wires together between ties.
 
I could do with someone local too come and sort my cables in my case out i start off with good intentions then loose it towards the end!
 
ha ha yea that whaat i did. My first build so was paying more attention to the everything else. I have done it now doesn't look to bad. The mobo are is clear bar the Cpu power cables and the fans air flow inst blocked. Dont want too take mobo out a re-route.

Shall i post a picture of it?

I will put one on tomorrow once i have installed vista 64. I have sorted out the tidying considerable but you can still see some of it. Antec p180 really nice case be some much better if it had removable mobo tray and better cable management (p182 then :))
