Hi,

Right ok I'm being a little demanding here but I'm in the market for a WiFi router that can be plugged in to a cable modem. However I'm not sure that I'll be in my current job/house long term so I was hoping to get one that had a ADSL modem in it too.

The only other thing that is important is that it does not bump my live NAT up past moderate

Anybody have any recommendations?

Cheers

You can't get one that has both, you would have to either buy a wireless access point, which can plug into either an adsl router or cable router/modem or a wireless router (cable) or adsl wireless router.

Buy a good router now, then get an ADSL ethernet modem if you move to ADSL.

Or sell the router and buy a new one if you move.

I have a setup like what you would need, I have a cable wifi router connected to an ADSL wifi router, easy to set just make sure you sort of the DHCP and gateway address etc to avoid conflicts of IP's

I only have this setup as an old laptop i have does not like my sky router.

Uh on the rolling stones ...... "you can't always get what you want....." ;)

I'll have a look at that router.

Any recomendations for a Cable router that has WLAN at about the £50 mark?

Cheers
-Howard.
