CableMod PRO ModMesh C-Series RMi & RMx Cable Kit faliure

hi all i need some help not too long ago i purchased the above kit for my corsair hx 1000w psu to spice my build up, upon installing them they were fantastic and really looked the part, all was well for a fair while until today i bought a new pump for my pc and once was installed and the system was blead i put my pc back together using the above kit, when i went to turn it on however my pc would not turn on, the lights on my keyboard lit up but the pc would not turn on.
i broke out the original 24 pin corsair send with their units and once this was installed the pc powered on like nothing was wrong, i will point out i am using the the original 24pin cable corsair use but the rest of the cables are from the cable mod kit which include

two 8 pin pcie cables for gpu
two 8 pin eps cables for cpu power (one 8 and the other 4 via splitter)
molex and sata cables

all of the above will work but when i put the 24 pin from cable mod the pc will not turn on.

any thoughs?

Most likely because you have the wrong cable kit and it's shorting out. Do not use them or you risk damaging your components because the RMi/RMx and your HX are different platforms and the pinouts on the connectors are different.
The cable set is clearly marked C-Series RMi & RMx Cable kit.

Reading the description states:-

Moreover this set is compatible with Corsair power supplies from the RMi & RMx-series.

At the bottom of the description it states:-

Compatibility:
Corsair RMi Series
Corsair RMx Series

Who told you they would work with your HX series psu?

i looked on cable mods website before i bought them, and when i looked on line the internals of the hx and the rmi/rmx are near identical, but more over the cable mod 24 pin is back in the pc and its fine, not sure what was going on but the voltage readouts in the bios are all good with in 2% of atx spec, i have been using the above kit for nearly 8 months with no issues at all until today.
