Cables for my PC

Hello all,

I'm on the verge of purchasing parts to build a PC and i need abit of advice regarding what cables i will require :confused: .

I plan on running a RAID arragement for my primary drive and have slave drive for my data.

My shopping list is

I already have an Samsung SH-W183 18x18 DVD±RW Serial ATA Dual Layer ReWriter for my opticial device but no cables are supplied.

If anyone could point me in the right directions regarding the best cable, that would be brilliant

As your drives are all SATA based, I dont think there are master and slave differences anymore and all the cables should be supplied by the Asus motherboard you got.

Edit: the P5B Deluxe is suppose to come with 6 SATA cables, more than enough for your hard drives and DVD writer
