Sorry folks if this is in the wrong section, I couldn't seem to find a section for it.

Hopefully someone can answer these hopefully really easy questions that I don't know :P

I have a Samsung series 9 ultrabook (new model) and have just come back from traveling. All the hotels could offer for hardwire internet were the ordinary lan cables, which my laptop doesn't have.

Is there a cable or an USB adapter or something else I can buy to be able to connect my ultrabook in hotels hardwire?

Lastly I am about to buy the 2TB WD passport drive and was wondering what cable I would need to run films from it to hotel room TVs?

Thanks and sorry for the really dumb questions but I went in some stores abroad and was told it is not possible to connect to internet with an ultrabook, after which he came back and said oh sorry you can, Apple make one but it is £40 lol

According to TrustedReviews the necessary adapter for the 900X3B (AA-AE2N12B ???) is included in the box.
On the left you’ll find the laptop’s single USB 3.0 port for hooking up fast storage, followed by a microHDMI port for outputting digital video. Samsung does not supply a regular-size HDMI adapter but then microHDMI cables are cheap and plentiful. The next port is microGigabit Ethernet, which uses a supplied adapter to plug into conventional wired networks.

On the right there’s a full-size SDXC card slot, microVGA port (again with included adapter), a 3.5mm headphone and microphone combi jack, and a USB 2.0 port. For wireless there’s Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi N.
If you don't have one I suggest using a cheap wireless access point instead.
