Hi,

I am currently trying to prove that a washing machine I bought in October 2011 is covered by the manufacturers 5 year warranty however they are claiming that this extended warranty was not offered until early 2012.

I took a picture of the offer before I left the store in 2011, which I have somewhere and will hopefully be able to find.

I know it was also advertised on their website but don't know how to go about recalling a now non-existent webpage as the item is discontinued.

Could someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

BennyC

I'm not sure I can mention them due to being a competitor but if you think Indian Cusine you'll be on the right lines.

The make & model: Samsung WF0804X8E

You can say Currys. Why are people so pet up about the competitor rules? You can't link directly to their website for a competing product, but people aren't stupid (as if mods don't know what "Indian cuisine" means) and equally OcUK don't sell washing machines.

Dont suppose you have the link that was used?

Cant find it on their site currently so almost no chance of digging up a cached page without the original URL(it doesnt have to still be active) :(.

There's a slim chance that I might have it saved in a document at home so I'll have a look this evening. Thanks.

Fantastic, thanks guys.

It doesn't actually further my case with Samsung, unless I can find the instore image I took, as the cached page shows 'Available on purchases made between 1st May and 31st October 2012'.

So now I need to prove to Currys they have potentially mis-sold me a product.

Or just suck it up and swallow whatever the bill will be :p

Must be quite easy to find out when you bought it surely?

Surely they would know, or you have a receipt, or something??
