CAD and Gaming build sub £1,000. Help?

My neighbour is looking for a PC for Fusion 360 and gaming.

His budget is ~£800 with a little flexibility.

What's available?

Is the I3-8350K worth considering or should it be a hex core I5, what about an AMD CPU?

Would like a 1060 for some gaming prowess.

Would like a 250GB SSD + mech storage.

Does not need O/S or peripherals.

Fusion Rendering is done via CPU, GPU helps with models displayed in the view point, bigegr the work and more vectors/polygons the harder the GPU will work etc

Most processes in Fusion 360 and other CAD programs are still single core, so lean towards clock speed over the number of CPU cores. A 3.5 GHz Core i5 is better than a 2.4 GHz Core i7. CAM, however, is able to make use of multiples cores and thus certain CAM processes can benefit from not only higher clock speeds but also having multiple cores.
