CAD gfx with gaming gfx on same mobo?

I've been thinking about this for a while but can't seem to find any information on it?

But would it be possible to have a CAD graphics card in one slot and a regular graphics card in another slot outputting to the same monitor?
 
yes you could but i think it will only use the gpu power from the one which is connected to the monitor so you would have to swap your monitor lead between the 2 depending on what you wanted to do dont quote me on that though just my 2 cents :)
