inventor does IIRC. Use it in school for an engineering project.

Much nicer to use than Pro/E also.
You mean finite elements,right?

Pro/E does it I think. My brother uses this daily and it's really impressive. It has a full physics engine. You can model a car's engine and then use your mouse to rotate the crank shaft and watch all the components in the engine move as well.

thanks guys, gonna have a look at solidworks.

yea its for testing different components when made form different materials, the stress, rotating mass etc etc.
