Cadburys Mis-shapes

Poundland sell mishapen chocolates for a , erm, a pound.

It doesn't say on, but most of the chocolates are cadbury's chocolates, e.g. roses etc.

They do a couple of different ranges.

I went quite a few years ago. It was great. You just saw bars of chocolate falling off the conveyor belts with the wrappers on and getting put in a bin. If you asked when on a tour they would give them to you. Perfectly nothing wrong with them. Free chocolate, you cant beat it.

In the shop at the end, I spent a fortune :p

I loved the mis-shapped Cream Eggs :D

He went to Cheshire.

There's a Cadbury shop there.

I don't understand what you're :rolleyes:ing at.

He went to Cheshire Oaks (presumably), not just "Cheshire". He must have gone somewhere "in" Cheshire, there is more than one Cadbury shop in the entirety of Cheshire.

I'm :rolleyes:ing at the fact that Cheshire is not the kind of place you can say "I went to this shop in Cheshire" to. In the same way I couldn't say "yeah, I found this awesome bait shop in Devon". Doesn't exactly narrow things down much does it?

Hmm. What if I said I went to London and went to HMV?

The actual 'good bit' inside was still inside, it was the actual chocolate that were not an egg shape.

When looking at them, you just wonder how they get to that shape when you think the chocolate is poured into an egg shapped mold.

Does it really matter?

I think there was a shop at Clarkes village too. Cadbury world is a great place to visit. Been there several times - a couple of times with the kids too. Once I found loads of chocolate just with almonds, rather like fruit and nut, made for the export market and it was fab. I haven't found it since but would love to.

Ironically I went to cadbury world in Bournville not too long ago with my girlfriend and neither the gift shop or the factory shop had any mishapes at all, not even a section where they would normally be. The cadbury outlet shop at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth (where my GF lives) had them though, couldn't believe it, living in Birmingham and the damn factory doesn't even sell them.

OMG just got back from cheshire and went to the cadbury factory shop. Bought a few bags of 'mis-shapes' (basically disabled chocolate that doesnt pass QA, so thing like siamese toffees and chocolateless fudge)

And for £2.99 a 750g bag i cant complain, will keep me happy for days :)

If anyone gets a chance to buy some, then do it!

Mmmm, I could do with that:D

5 stars for randomness lol

ive never been to the factory but ill make a point of going when im home next

:) i went to Cadbury land when i was younger, every time you pass a person that works there they take your eaten wrappers and then give you more free chocolate :D

Haha, I remember going there when I was a kid... I had so much chocolate I couldn't finish the mouthful I had left, so I found a nice quiet corner to spit it in to :o
