why dont u get externall 500gb hdd instead, theres quite a few on ocuk that would be cheaper than your option unless you realy need sata connection and even then u could get

i'd prolly spend bit more and get NAS

but i think the swappable nature of caddie means you can use severall hdd's rather than just one hdd if that makes sense

try to find that stage sata rack , you can get it from the states (i dont even think there is a supplier in europe)
check engadget they had it there.
