Looking for a Cafetiere to have at work to make some better coffee than nescafe gold.

something around £25.

I have an inginuitea which is great so want the same for coffee.

thanks.

Or a drip system, Hario v60 or Kalita Wave for instance.

As for a French press, I've always thought they were all much of a muchness - something bodum should do.

Personally I would rate drip or aero press over French press, but FP is a little less fuss.

Had a look, do you need a stand to support this? Looks like you put quite a bit of force down on it, would be bit iffy on top of a cup.

A mug is fine, if you've got a teacup with narrow base it might need a bit more attention paying to it so you don't roll it over. But in terms of the force it's fine.

Don't be too put off French press though, they're good just not too everyone's taste.

Just a Bodum will do for a cafetiere, probably around £15 depending on the size, but I way prefer drip coffee to cafetiere now. Hario V60 user here!

I would have an AeroPress for work. In fact I'm considering getting a burr hand grinder and an AeroPress so that I can have fresh coffee everyday at work. Any decent mug can take the downward force from the AeroPress, it really isn't that much force anyway. I wouldn't use it on bone china, but then why wouldn't you be drinking coffee out of a substantial mug?
